The RAA is hosting a Spring 2026 Medical School Application Writing Session on May 20th, 2026, which is this Wednesday! If you're applying to medical school this cycle, come to C-517 from 4-6 PM to enjoy a quiet writing environment (with snacks!) to work on your applications, along with opportunities to receive feedback from your fellow RAs. If you plan on attending, we ask that you RSVP at this link, through which you can specify dietary restrictions or ask us any questions.

The 4th Annual HMS RA Association Poster Symposium was a great success, with 20 Research Assistants presenting their work,  75 attendees (including a number of HMS faculty), and 30 volunteer judges (Thank you!) Congratulations to the award winners Lucy Ort (Gu Lab) who won the Best Poster Award with the highest judged score and Meegan Sleeper (Seidman Lab, Genetics Department) who won the People’s Choice Award.  Kudos to members of the RAA Board and committee members who helped plan and organize the event: Larisa Antonellis (Neurobiology), Isabella van der Weide (Genetics), Brianna Sanchez (Brugge Lab), Zachary Stolberg (Neurobiology), Isabella Ruiz (Shao Lab) and Cell Bio Events Coordinator Amanda Alcox. 
 

Members enjoyed holiday cookies, as well as  pizza and drinks with their fellow RAs!

In light of certain pauses to social benefits in combination with winter and the holidays coming up, donations are more important to public well-being than ever! Please consider dropping off non-perishable food items and used (or new!) clothing for the benefit of ABCD Food Pantry Parker Hill/Fenway and Big Brothers Big Sisters in Boston.
