What Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Means for Cell Biology

Event Poster

**Please note updated start time of 10:00 AM!**

The Inreach Committee is excited to share our first event in partnership with the Equity and Inclusion Fellows at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In "What Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Means for Cell Biology," we will cover key concepts in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. It will guide us to relate these concepts to our scientific careers:

  • How do we, as current and future leaders and mentors, create a more welcoming and inclusive community where everyone can thrive?
  • What do bias, racism, and microaggressions have to do with us and our scientific community?

Join us with curious minds as we begin to navigate these difficult topics.

"What Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Means for Cell Biology" will be held virtually on Wednesday, March 31 from 10:00-11:15AM. RSVP here: https://bit.ly/3lbxxqfNote: this event is open to current members of the Department of Cell Biology at HMS. Please register using a harvard.edu email.
